Merry Christmas
“He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist.”
- Francis P. Church
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Luke 2:11-14
With joyous hearts and grateful souls may we each declare as the angels did that wondrous day so many years ago, “Glory to God in the Highest!”
May the Christ of Christmas and the love that brought Him from Heaven to earth: to be born of a virgin and placed in a manger: touch your heart, your home and your family in deeper and more meaningful ways than it has ever done before.
And may today not be the culmination of our celebration; but rather, may it be just the beginning.
Today’s Prayer
Father, thank you for making Christmas what it is: and for allowing your love and your gift to change my life for ever: may I perpetually celebrate all that you are and all that you have done for me.
