Today’s Bible Verses:                     2 Timothy 3:15-17

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

God’s Word – The Bible is God’s guidebook to life for you and me.  Everything that we need to know to live a life pleasing to Him is detailed in the pages of its text.

We are admonished to, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” - The Bible (2 Timothy 2:15)

Often Christians complain that they don’t know what God wants them to do.

My question back to them would have to be, when is the last time you picked up your Bible and read it?

The Bible says “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” – The Bible (Psalms 119:105)   But that light cannot illuminate our way if we don’t pick it up and make use of the resource it is affording us.
