God’s Singular Cure For All Ailments
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5
“Life is not merely being alive, but being well.”
- Martial
Life has many ailments, some physical, some spiritual, some emotional, some mental, some financial, some any number of other sources from which challenges and difficulties might arise: but God has the cure for them all. And His name is Jesus.
Jesus is the Great Physician, who can not only heal the body, but can also heal the heart, the mind, the soul, as well as provide the solutions for many of the other problems in life that affect the heart, body, mind and soul.
Jesus is the ultimate prescription and the total health care plan made available by God to all humanity: isn’t it unfortunate that so many of us do not avail ourselves of this great resource God has provided?
If you need help with a relationship; God has provided the Great Counselor to guide you to restoration.
If you’re struggling with a life direction: God has provided the perfect Career Advisor.
If it’s financial advise that you need: He has already given you the wisest, most knowledgeable Financial Analyst.
If your heart is breaking and you need comfort: He has given the most compassionate and gentle Comforter.
If your body is broken: who better to fix it than the one involved with its creation.
If your soul is lost or hurting there is only one who can redeem, save and soothe and that is the Lamb, The Savior, The Sacrifice who died for all: who took all of humanities needs upon Himself and who is that source, the solution, the power and has the ability to do it all.
His mane is Wonderful, Counselor, Everlasting, Messiah, Redeemer, Jehovah, and the list can go on and on, but if you are blood bought, redeemed and saved by His Blood you not only call Him Jesus and Savior; but also Brother and Friend.
He is God’s solution: are you willing to embrace Him?
Today’s Prayer
Father, so many times I look to all the wrong places to find the solutions, cures and fixes for my life: when all I really need to do is to look to the Giver of Life.
