A Plan for Success

But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

Today’s Thoughts and Insights

 

We do not generally set out in life to fail.  In fact, most of us envision and aim for success in whatever things we do.  This should also be true for us in our spiritual endeavors.  We should always aim for the prize to hit the mark to attain the goal of accomplishing the calling of God and His will and work for our life.

The secret to our success as a Christian is to walk after the spirit and not yield to the flesh: To surrender and not control: to follow and not try to lead, to give more than we attempt to take.  If we do these things we will be blessed, never be lost and have more than we need to get us through each day. 

Today’s Prayer

My Father, which is in Heaven, you are great, glorious and deserving of better than my best.  May my plans be to allow your plans to empower, enable and bring me to success in your eyes, by your Spirit.
