Living for Heaven in 2011- Requires Total Surrender

What’s left if you’ve given it all away?
Today’s Spiritual Thought:
Living for Heaven in 2011 entails giving your all, for His all, in which, by the way, if you do so successfully, you will have more when you are finished than you did when you begun.
True commitment requires total surrender. The song states, “I Surrender All,” not a portion or percentage but all.
Are you willing to give all to the one who gave His all for you?

Time Super Bowl Sunday
Perfect Fishing or Bike Riding Weather
Special planned events or outings when a call to serve comes in
Are we willing to be flexible enough to allow what He needs us to do to take priority of what we want to do, anytime day or night?
Talent You Strengths
Your Weaknesses
Any ability whether known, perceived or hidden that might be usable to Him
Are we willing to do anything we can and try whatever He brings whether we have or don’t think we have the abilities to do it? If we will give it our best, I’m sure He will do the rest.
Treasure This is more than just money. This is anything we value or hold dear.
He gave us His only Son, is there anything of more value than that?
In short if we want to completely and totally live for Heaven in 2011 we must give in, offer up, turn over and surrender all, everything, and hold nothing back.

Father, may I give all that I am, for all that you are, knowing that you don’t need me, but rather you want me.
