Is Impossible – Possible
Today’s Thought:
“Start by doing what is necessary, then what’s possible, and suddenly you’re doing the impossible.” – St. Francis of Assisi
Today’s Quote:
“Never tell a young person that something cannot be done, God may have been waiting for centuries for somebody ignorant enough of the impossible to do that thing.” – Dr. J. A. Holmes
Today’s Question
Did you know: “The Difficult is that which can be done today: The Impossible is that which takes a little longer?” – George Santayana
Today’s Bible Verses: Mark 10:25-27
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Today’s Spiritual Thought:
God is a God of the impossible. He spoke and the world was created. He brought the three Hebrew Children, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego out of a fiery furnace without a single burn or even the smell of smoke on them. He bought Jonah out of the belly of a great fish unharmed after three days. He raised Jesus from the dead after three days. There is nothing that God can’t do, so then we must pause and reflect on this: Is there anything impossible in our life that God can’t handle? I believe the answer would be, No! Regardless of how high the mountain; how deep the valley; or how wide the river: God can get us over; get us through and get us across whatever obstacles, challenges and problems we may face. The real issue is; will we let Him. Often our situations become more complicated than they need to be, because we try to do things in our own strength and by our own might. We need to remember that to be a true over comer in this life things are better done God’s way: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” – The Bible (Zechariah 4:6)
Today’s Prayer:
Father, there may be things impossible for me, but with You there is nothing impossible for me, as long as it is your will, your way; help me to always remember that.
