No Man Is An Island

God did not intend for man or woman to always be alone.  If He had Adam would not have had to undergo the first major surgical procedure to have a rib removed.

And as the family of God we need to understand that we need each other.  That is why we are called the body of Christ.  We are all interdependent upon on each another.

We need to understand this concept and realize that God gives us each a portion of the overall puzzle, so to speak, so that we can work together fitting each of our separate puzzle parts together so that we can get the whole picture of what it is God is doing in our midst.

We need to be there to share, care, and support, encourage, admonish and love each other just like God loves us.

   Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Hebrews 10:23-25

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference:  And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Jude 1:20-23

There is not one of us that can accomplish the work and will of God on our own without the prayers, help and assistance of our fellow brothers and sisters in the faith.   We need to stop trying to be a one person show and grasp the reality that we are in this thing together and we might as well start learning how to cooperate and work together here, because we most certainly will have to when we find ourselves sharing the rest of eternity together.

Today’s Prayer

Father, you are the giver of life: the creator of all things created: and I believe you intend for your creation to work together cohesively to accomplish your plans.  Help me to love, lend a helping hand and share the load to make for a stronger family of God rather than trying to act like I am an only child.
