Be A Blessing
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Matthew 5:43-45
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Acts 20:35

Today’s Thoughts and Insights
Which is better to build up or to tear down?
Obviously tearing something down is usually easier and often less challenging than building something up and often it can be more fun and it frequently requires less effort: the same is true when it comes to dealing with people.
It is often much easier to criticize, demean and tear an individual down for things they may be doing wrong than it is to get to know them better, understand where they are coming from and help to encourage, instruct and enable them to grow and become better and stronger: especially when it comes to spiritual matters.
So the question for us then is which is what God would want us to do?
And the answer to that is fairly obvious, God wants us to love each other, help each other and enable each other to grow in our relationship with Him.
In short we need to allow God to use us to be a blessing in the lives of those around us. And in so doing, we will discover that we are being blessed, more than we could hope to imagine.
Today’s Prayer
Father you are glorious, wonderful, amazing and stupendous and I am so honored to be your child. As you are so faithful to bless me – help me to be equally faithful to be a blessing to others, in your name, for your glory, so that they will have a greater and more enriched walk with you.
“An attitude of gratitude creates blessings.”
– Sir John Templeton
“Let the poor man say
I am rich in Him
Let the lost man say
I am found in Him
Let the blind man say
I can see again
Let the dead man say
I am born again
Holy Spirit come
Move in power“
I am rich in Him
Let the lost man say
I am found in Him
Let the blind man say
I can see again
Let the dead man say
I am born again
Holy Spirit come
Move in power“
